What to expect post microdermabrasion?
For the next 24 hours post-treatment, your skin may feel tight dry, and appear pink for up to 48 hours. Avoid direct sun exposure for seven days, as your new skin is sensitive. Be sure to apply SPF as part of your morning routine and reapply as necessary.
You may experience some dryness or peeling. Moisturising and using a hydrating toner will help to keep the skin hydrated.
SPF must be worn post-treatment in your AM skincare routine.
Do not pick your skin, as this will cause pigmentation.
Be gentle with your skin for the next 24hrs post-treatment.
Avoid harsh products for the first 24 hours.
Do not exfoliate for 7 days post Microdermabrasion.
Avoid activities with excessive perspiration.
How many Microdermabrasion sessions are suggested for optimal results?
For best results, we usually prescribe a series of 4 to 6 treatment. Your skincare professional will work with you to create a tailored treatment plan that addresses your unique needs.
